As of what I know of what DDoS's are its just 2 people sending in some virus or something like that and their intention is to temporally disable the website from its users. In other words it is an attempt to make a machine or network resource unavailable to its intended users. Although the means to carry out, motives for, and targets of a DoS attack may vary, it generally consists of efforts to temporarily or indefinitely interrupt or suspend services of a host connected to the Internet.

Ohhhh i see ok. I'm assuming this isnt the first time this has happened? Do you remember how long it took to get the server up and running last time this ever happened?
